Cooking with Phil cooking classes. This spring we had over a dozen different individuals participate in two-hour long cooking sessions. Phil taught the bases of smoking pork, brisket, ribs, and chicken! Participants were able to learn and practice with a hands on training full of Q&A. Plus, everyones favorite part of the class, eating the lunch that was freshly smoked! We are working on a calendar of classes for later this year. Take-Home Meals started this summer when we realized the need our clients had for an easy yet delicious meal. Schedules are busy in the summer and continue to stay busy all year long. If you're juggling sports schedules, carpool line, work schedules, or simply want a night off from kitchen duty, Take-Home Meals are for you! When a Take-Home Meal is announced you'll find out the date, price, and menu. All meals are picked up at the Henn House Barbeque location in Altona, Illinois. Be on the look out on Facebook as we announce Take-Home Meals 1-2 times a month.
You probably know that the Henn House Barbeque Food Truck is frequently found in locations all over the region, but did you know it is also available for private events. This summer we had a blast at The Taste of Galesburg and several times on location at OSF St.Mary's. The food truck was also a huge hit at several corporate events and office parties.
